In  weeks  to  come   she  hopes
to work   with  the   Nutmeg  Big Brothers   Big   Sister   Program. LaToya is also  actively  involved within her Church

She  serves on  the  usher board and is in the  process of  starting a church newsletter.

In five  years  from  now   LaToya sees  herself   with a   master  in journalism    and   entering   Law School.   Although   she  is   not sure of  an   exact  career   path, she  knows   that  God will  lead her to a  path  of success.   One day she  would like to visit Fogo, Cabo-Verde   Island   and   learn more  about   her  ancestry  and develop programs   for  the youth who are  less fortunate and  who do   not   have    the   means  to continue their education.
